Jeg husker at The Belle Stars ble spådd som arvtagere etter Bananarama engang på det glade 80-tallet. De skrev tilogmed sin egen musikk og spilte alle instrumenter. Men det ble med denne ene hiten.

  1. Arvtagerne er vel mer søstrene Appelton, er det ikke det de het da, de i All Saints? Men om de skrev/skriver musikken sin selv, det vet jeg ikke, for da kan de ikke kalle arvtagersker likevel, siden Stock, Aitkien, Waterman iallefall skrev/produserte de beste låtene til Bananrama i sin tid. På den annen side hadde de veldig mange coverlåter også, da.
    Forøvrig fin låt, og one-hit-wonders er ikke noe og kimse av, etter min pipe.

  2. Helt enig, ikke noe å skjemmes over. One hit er bedre enn no hit :-) Jeg husker bare at “alle” musikkjournalister mente The Belle Stras var bedre enn Bananarama fordi de lagde musikken sjøl. Det var liksom veldig mer kred over det… ;-)

  3. Musikkjournalister er jo bare noen høylydte og skriveføre jålebukker som ikke kan synge sjæl. Kanke ta sånt for annet enn det det er: Underholdningsjournalistikk. Sann mine ord. Jeg hater ennå Yan Friis for slakten han alltid utførte mot eminemte Boney Ms plater i datidens viktigste ungdomsblad: Det nye! Han hadde vaffal ikke peil.
